The "Herbiers en Scène workshops" are travelling across the world to Australia
After Singapore, Korea, Argentina, and China, it is in Australia that the Klorane Botanical Foundation is pursuing its actions to raise awareness of the treasures of nature among the very youngest.
In Sydney, 420 citizens of the future made aware of the challenges of biodiversity
In the frame of its partnership with the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, 4 herbarium workshop sessions were offered to children during the April and October school holidays.
Thanks to this skilful combination of education, entertainment and discovery, 420 citizens of the future were made aware of the challenges of biodiversity.
This symbolic action creates meaning because it commits each child to look towards the future in accordance with nature.
The "Herbiers en Scène" workshops : discover botany in practice
The children learned how to make their own herbarium with a wide choice of pressed and dried plants.
They also soiled their hands while repotting plants. They smelled, touched and tasted the emblematic plants of the Australian territory during the visit of the Gardens.
